Our car, shown above, was made up of materials found around the house. This included the iPod box, Gatorade and water bottle caps, three straws, two skewers, and of course the balloons. We had two balloons, doubled up, to create more pressure, which makes the car go faster. The skewers were placed inside of the straw, so the skewers could spin but the straw could not. The caps (wheels) were then drilled through, so there were small holes to insert the skewers. There were also three holes drilled in the body (iPod box) so that the back straw attached the balloon could go through, and the straws the wheels were attached to could go through.
